Because PC games aren't necessarily Internet-related, I will ask my question here: Can there be game players that love a game so much that they will neglect chores, jobs, family, and friends to play it? What type of games are usually prone for addiction? Does anyone here know a PC game addict?

Skate said: If you do a little research, World of Warcraft has caused thousands of divorces.  People just give up on life, they stop caring about their wives, their kids, their jobs, their bills... everything!  I was reading a blog about people who'd left comments about their experiences with WOW and one lady was forced to mow the lawn at 9 months pregnant because her husband refused to do anything but play WOW all day long. It's so bad right?  I'll try to find the article...

My boyfriend is addicted to command and conquer!!!! he is always checking gamereplays.com....he isn't just playing games all the time, sometimes he will just watch other peoples games etc.  He goes on the website at work, as soon as he gets home.  It has got a tiny bit better sunce I have moaned a lot, but it is soooo annoying! If i didn't moan or try n make different conversation, it would command and conquer all day an night!!!!!
