I experienced in myearly days of being online and waste time on chatting to lots of people. Tried to have friends some for a good cause and some just to have some fun for girls. But this days i wont waste time anymore im glad i did stop that addiction online.

oh...yeah thats good!!!Instead of going to chat it is better that you will waste your time on working to have money,like for example what we are doing now which is opening forum.

Oh that is true! better waste time on making money than by just chatting and fooling around? i know someone who chat all the time and this affects her like outside cyber space. zeven quarell with her boy friend because he chats with men.

Chatting and meeting friends online is not bad, as ling as you don't forget your resposibilities in real life. And some people chat because thy do lack interaction with friends outside there circle.

I think that chatting online is no different than going to the bar or social clubs. Why is it different? Many of those people do this everyday for hours on end. Why are they not considered addicts. Chatting is a perfectly acceptable way of meeting people that you might never have talked to in real world.

I do not see anything wrong on that, it is a modern way to communicate with other people, one thing I do not like is when people spend hours talking to strangers, that is weird for me!

i have this problem. But i dont meet people online I just talk to my friends from all around the world so like whenever I get online theyre always on. even if I get on at 3 in the morning theres always someone to talk to. I spend waaaay too much time on my messenger. I know i can put that time to much better use but i just like it.

I might not be a form of addiction of todays standard specially when you do use it for cumunicating to friends and also use for business, but i know there are people who use it for some other reason and they are very much addicted.
