Youths are spending longer and longer on the internet either
to communicate or network with others through the virtual world. They also help
each other with homework. My daughter has gotten help on her homework many times
by posting up a bulletin on MySpace.

It’s not only my daughter who has this addiction. People
don’t even watch T.V. anymore because we can watch T.V. series from the
internet. At first internet was mostly used to chat with people but now websites
like youtube.com are out there and other interesting stuff too.

Many people find this funny and mostly because it’s true. And
many people nowadays admit to it too. In china they even have rehabilitation
centers for internet addicts. And internet cafes ban some users under 18.

Well we did use the internet and we know how it felt surfing it. There are just too many interesting stuff online that we want to check out everytime. But still moderation is the key or else we lose ouselves to it.

It is funny how some people look at internet addicts, I don't think spending time on the internet for a good cause is an addcition at all, an inteenet addict is the one that just stays the whole day chatting on the net or playing onlone games. My mom allways asks me if I feel addcited but my answer is no, if I want to go out I go out, if I want o do anything else I just leave the intenet and go on doing whatever I want, so I can consider myseld an addict.

Most of the people who says someone is addicted to internet does not know internet? and some of the uses of internet because if they do then someone who uses it for a good cause would never be consider as such.

Using online for agood cause like making homeworks are not considered addictions but you are just maximing the power of internet. it does make kife work easier. Yeah it is engaging but as long as you could still do your responsibilities then it is all good.

that's true, we are really getting rid of TV because of the internet, and most people consider an addict anyone who spends a few hours on it, which is not true, they should learn about it first :P
