Switzerland’s financial capital of Zurich wanted
internet users about the dangers of addiction to chat rooms and sex sites. The regions
department for the prevention of addictions has launched a poster campaign and
is offering a self-assessment questionnaire for potential addicts on its
website. The department said “spending lots of time in virtual worlds,
especially chat rooms, online games and sex sites, can lead to dependence
comparable to other addictions.”/

Around 50,000 Swiss are
addicted to the internet or at risk of becoming addicted. Yong people are the
most vulnerable, although its getting pretty bad for adults too. The department
said, “They are at risk of facing problems in their social surroundings or at
the workplace.” Internet addicts suffer from psychological withdrawal symptoms.

They should start to do this for other countries also . The number of people getting addicted to chat rooms and pron site is growing every day . So of the problems is that people have stopped talking face to face and are only going on chat rooms .

You cannot get addicted to chat rooms...there is no mental or chemical thing going on in your head to get you addicted to it. It is just one wanting to find things to fill their free time. They just happen to enjoy talking to people around the world on internet chat sites. It is a hobby. You would not call drawing an addiction.
