This idea got to my head when i was at the library, at my library they have a time limit on the bottom right of the screen saying how much longer you can go on the PC after that time limit go's to zero it automatically shuts off, it gives you time to save your work and such things although i do think/belive this is a way to cure Internet addiction.

Putting a time limit on yourself may help the situation, but it won't cure an internet addiction in my opinion. The internet is necessary for so many things that you may be restricting your ability to pay bills or get work done if you put a strict time limit on yourself.

Yes, but you could estimate roughly how long it takes you on the Internet daily e.g. say it takes me roughly two hours daily to do my Internet stuff like pay bills etc. then you put the time limit on two hours, but the only problem is if it takes you longer on some days.

Agreed on that.An estimate of the time you spend on internet at least might serve as a warning that you need to logout. For many people time flies without their knowledge on internet without getting much done.Having a display box at the bottom that keeps you informed about it can help.

A time limit is a good idea if you want to ensure that you spend a certain amount of time on. But it is not possible to get addicted to the internet so a limit is not neccesary.

I'm certainly an addicted, lol, I've been on the internet for a few years and made some nice things, made friends, made money, I can say it is a good addiction, I don't plan on quitting it at all anytime soon :)

this is A good ideea, if you have a child that just doesn't understand that he is not supposed to stay all day on the internet it is a very good option, but otherwise for example if my computer shut's down and I have work to do it will make me go mad hehe
