i know most people hear this everyday, but seriosuly, i think im addicted to myspace. i check it when i first wake up then every 5 minutes from then on. even when im not home or im at school, i check it on my phone, or at night sometimes when i keep thinking about it i get up and check it. this is a serious addiction, i feel like my whole life is revolving around this stupid website that i cant seem to stop visiting. do you think i'll everstop???

try getting a job where you have to be on myspace all day. maybe that would help. youd end up getting sick of it.. i know alot of countries are having problems with internet addictions. like china made a ban for youth to enter internet cafes. and they actually made rehab for internet. pretty crazy huh?

Well, I have an addiction to another site: http://post.hereweb.com

They are just like myspace but don't allow videos yet. I beleive they were started some time last year.

I have many friends on the site.

My addiction though is not just to this site.

I love the internet. I think I finally get off the internet at 3:00 am.

I have to work the next day.

Do you suppose I am shortening my life?

Myspace has that affect on people, doesn't it? You just need to substitute it with something else you like on the net. Maybe some game sites?

What is it that people find so appealing about myspace? I dropped by it and don't see what it is that is so addicting about it? Anyone care to tell me a little about it.

ya i was addicted to myspace too. i used to check it all the time too and i finally had to delete it. it was taking up so much time and causing so much drama between people..you should try it..its hard at first, but it will be okay

I never thought of internet as an addiction but it is..and I tend to spend too much time on it too..

I spend much time online for my job; but I also get hooked on games and certain site..I think the web is exactly what it's called a web..it holds on to you.

What are you doing to get over your myspace addiction.

myspace is a site where like you post up your pictures and you can comment other peoples site or pictures, and have them comment yours. it basically keeps you in touch with all other myspacers and allow you to see whats going on in their lives. it is pretty fun but can become very time consuming, and i think a majority of people who have it are addicted to it and have to check it daily. it just becomes like apart of your life, just like you have to check your email everyday, or you messages on your phone, myspace pretty much becomes the same deal.

i dont think its such a strong addiction and should be taken very seriously, i just think that people who do spend too much time on it should get other hobbies or other jobs to keep them busy. okie i think i wrote too much!!

I agree, myspace is not such a grave addiction, but agree that the internet as a whole can be. I know people who spend the whole night on the internet. They never leave their computer. Morning comes and they are sitting the same way when night fell.

At least coachluvah, you know that you have a problem. What is it exactly that keeps you going back to myspace. Is there something about that site, more then others., that keeps you coming back?

i just like it so much. i love posting comments and getting them back and stuff its like an AIM that all people can see. i can get my ex bf jealous by having guys comment me, i can keep in touch with people that i havent seen in forever. and they have all those fun surveys plus pictures. u never really got to see peoples pictures before unless they have them on their binders or they bring a photoalbum with them which is rarely. but over all just everything on it. but i know i waste way too much time on it.

I hadn't caught on the myspace wave and I guess I am losing a big part of my Internet life. Actually, I had programmed myself to join myspace and other social networks to gain some friends.

I don't know for sure if I'm addicted or not. I have 3 jobs and I'm a full-time college student, but I find almost all of my spare time that I'm on the internet. It's not just myspace, but other sites like it too.

Yeah, myspace has become as addictive as WoW in my opinion. I also know people who are addicted to friendster. About me, I don't know why I'm not that addicted with it. Maybe it's just me though. I'm more interested in graphics and games. And not to mention, the internet as a whole. I wake up and go to my computer, then I sleep 3am. Haha. I only have breaks when I eat breakfast, lunch, and supper. The problem is, sometimes i eat while surfing. That's how addicted i am.

Myspace was addictive for me in the beginning but it isnt as interesting to me as it used to be. I still log on each day to check my messages and what not, but the times of 2-3 hours on it are gone.

Thats probably the nuber one reason why i dont have a myspace. Half the perople i know are addicted to it all they do is go on myspace and when they are'nt on it thats all they can talk about. It's so annoying.

I was once addicted to one of those sites and couldn't see how I would ever stop visiting that site unless it disappeared from internet , but I was wrong.I used to spend several hours everyday and sometimes I went without any sleep.My basic interest in that site were a group of friends I made there and as my friends migrated away from the site I lost interest and stopped visiting the site.I am also in Myspace ,but haven't spent enough time there to develop a fascination for the site yet.
