Hi,

I was wondering, what exactly is internet addiction? When you spend all your time online or something? I spend alot of time online, and I love going online but I wouldn't exactly say I'm addicted to it perse.

So, again, what exactly is internet addiction?

My take on it is when our virtual life becomes more important than our real life and we socialize online more than we do in our offline life , we are an internet addict.A sign that one is an internet addict is when our friends and family feel neglected due to the time we spend online.I too spend a lot of my time on internet ,but I don't neglect my real life responsibilities and relations for internet.

I think that some people have a problem with relating to people in the real world and they need to hide behind a computer so the get inot the virtual world and then they get addicted to it .

I think an addiction is when the behavior starts to interfere with daily living and is harmful to that person or to others. Plus he ignore his works and family too. This is just my own thoghts.
