I would have to admit that this is my biggest addiction. I enjoy too much playing online games and feel the need of getting involved in online communities (clans), I am reasonable that I only tend to play one game at a time.

Anyone else here have a similar addiction? I'd be interested in hearing your stories and ways of how you deal with this sort of addiction!

A lot of people that I know is on this kind of addiction too. But I believe that you, just like them, would simply grow it off. Most people I know lose interest in the game they are going after they have achieved a certain level.

I tend to go through 'phases' of obsession with internet games. For example, a few months ago I was a little obsessed with an RPG website, and was on it a LOT for about two weeks. Then the novelty wore off and I moved on.

I think you just have to pace yourself and limit the amount of time you are spending on gaming websites, because it is very easy to start playing and then look up four hours later and think "where's the day gone?"

I play online games, a lot, and I have to admit it is very easy to get swept up in them. Some of the other players don't help either, expecting the guild / clan to come first, and egging people on to call in sick / skip lunch, or whatever.

I've noticed a lot of the games coming from Korea attempt to combat this though, with friendly reminders every half hour about how long you have been playing, and loading screens suggesting that you log out and see the real world for a while.
