We all know about internet and its uses. And these days people are getting addicted to it. Do we really know how it affects our body and brain???

It dumbs down your neural corex, apparently. Im not completely sure, but i know that repeated exposure to computers will damage your brain, quite badly :(

There are effects of the internet that can cause lots of damage to your brain besides being very addictive , 98% of the people in India have had a problem of the mind cause of easy life style and lots of time on the computer .

I really don't know how it effects our brian although i would always like to find out also i hate thinking about the fact that computers can damage our brains seeing as im kind of addicted to computers.

VZX, do you have any sources you could show to support your claims? That seems a little far fetched to me.

I personally trained as a software engineer in university and having spent many, many hours working on systems I can tell you that all it ever did was exersise my brain. It depends on your use.

If all you are ever doing is surfing and taking in entertainment, it is no better than TV. If you use it for work, then it can indeed teach and and be very stimulating.

where did you get this information. I would really like to know, as I would like to read more about it. I think that it stimulates the brain more by having access to more and more information. I have seen no scientific information that backs up what you are saying. I know people who have been working with computers for decades and are more healthy then some people who have never used one in their life.
