I was one of those people that quit smoking cold turkey. I thought of the patches and gum but I didn't want to bother with them. I figured I'd give a go at just stopping and see what hapens. It was tough for the first couple weeks and then the cravings just disappeared.

For those that used the patch and gum to quit, what are your experiences with them? Did you like them? How long did it take for you to get rid of the urge to smoke? Any other observations while using them would be great too.
