Well,
In two weeks time the complete smoking ban in public places comes in in the UK. Will it make we quit? It might, it will certainly stop me smoking so much on nights out.
Would it make you quit?

There has been a public ban on smoking for years here in California (USA). It didn't really stop too many people from smoking, it just killed bar business for a short time. Then bars open up smoking patios and wouldn't you know it, all was back to normal. I admit that I really like eating without people smoking a few feet away. It now seems so strange when I go somewhere that still allows smoking in a public place. Especially since I don't smoke. I totally understand why it that law was passed. The smell travels and it really kinda makes everthing stink. The statement "It a disgusting habit" is SOOOOO true.
dfisher, perhaps it's time to quit. You'll thank yourself for it later. I promise.
