When the smoking ban comes in the UK, go to you local pubs and buy the odd, unique ash trays they are going to be huge collectors items in years to come. and your kids will say... "Did you really used to smoke in public places?"

You could be onto somethnig there James, I don't know if I'm strong enough yet to have ashtrays in my house and I do not want to find out, but there could be money to be made

I can't afford to go to the UK just to buy an ash tray. Maybe if I could get a drink up there as well It would be something more to look forward to. Alas I'm stuck here, without an ash tray and without a nice drink.

I highly doubt that there will be much money to be made. I think that as long as ashtrays can be bought and sold they will be but they probably have no value.

I thought your idea was interesting, and I agree stuff like that will be collectors items in the future. Smart thinking!

The ban on smoking in the UK should have a good effect on the health of every one , but after a few drinks a smoke is needed for those people who smoke what should they do , break the rule
