Addiction Help
Before you can get help for your addiction (or a loved one's), you need to
determine whether or not you even have a problem with one. There are many
ways to figure this out. Take a self-test or sit in on a support group
meeting, just to name a couple. Once you've figured that out there are
many resources available to get help.
There are 12 step programs for any addiction out there, in most cities,
and almost every country in the world. It won't be an easy process, but
it's one that's well worth it. Even if it's not your addiction, but a
loved one's, there are support groups for you too. Addicts aren't the only
ones that are having problems, family and friends are affected also. Through
support groups, the addicts learn that they are not alone, that others have
fought the battle and won, and that they can do it too. They can get their
lives back and won't be controlled by their addiction any more.
