I can't stop joining Myspace.com to flirt and try to have online sex (cybersex) with women. My wife has caught me several times and I have promised to stop but I always seem to go back a couple of months later. Why can't I stop this behavior and is there any real help for me?
Your not involving others to help you in your treatment so you need to get into a support group for sex addiction. Also, block the computer so you can’t get on without a password or disconnect altogether if you need to. Don't lose what is real (wife and family) for something unreal. Also, you might want a telephone counseling session to determine why you are not stopping this destructive behavior. Set up consequences if you do act out, otherwise you're still rewarding yourself with your behaviors.
