How Do You Feel About CBT?

11/23/2009 5:41:00 PM - Permalink

I have been struggling with a compulsive gambling problem off and on for several years. I have read where cognitive behavior therapy has been helpful in many cases. I need and am asking for help. What is your opinion of CBT and do you practice it? Thank you for your response. - Barbara

Barbara,

I am a strong believer in CBT. I use Motivational Interviewing in work and the training of Problem Gambling Therapists. Hope this helps.

Sincerely
