Ninety meetings in ninety days is an old Alcoholics Anonymous saying. What this meant was that an alcoholic starting recovery was told to attend an AA meeting every day. This did several things. First, it allowed him to see recovery in other people's lives and gave hope for his recovery. Secondly, it enabled him to hear what it meant to be honest about life. Thirdly, it gave him a new group of people that he could call friends. Lastly, he received support for his struggle and gained recognition for his efforts to stay clean.
This tool works. Going to that many meetings up front will guarantee a change in your life. Unfortunately, only in the very large cities would there be a possibility of this many meetings happening in the sex anonymous groups. The principle is true. Where ever you live, find the local sex recovery groups and go to as many groups as possible for the first 90 days. It can help build the relationships that you need to get and stay sober.
Sex addiction recovery is a team sport; you can't do it by yourself. The group will help you become successful in your recovery.
